This senior-level role focuses on managing, retaining, and expanding a portfolio of high-value client relationships, including ISVs, ISOs, and referral partners. The VP will lead a team of Business Development Managers, advocate for clients, drive strategic solutions to meet revenue targets, and coordinate internal teams to deliver exceptional service and achieve revenue growth.

What We're Looking For

Manage a team of partner development managers and serve as a leader and escalation point for high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.,Understand client business goals and processing environments to develop tailored payment processing solutions.,Proactively identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, negotiate contract renewals and pricing, perform portfolio analysis, and drive revenue growth.,Develop deep relationships with VIP clients through regular touch points, Quarterly Business Reviews, trade show participation, and deep dive sessions.,Collaborate with internal partners (Product, Sales, Operations, Dev/Integrations) to implement projects, resolve operational issues, and ensure seamless service delivery.,Maintain strong knowledge of the evolving payments landscape, industry trends, and competitive positioning to educate clients and internal partners.,Monitor performance and KPIs at both portfolio and VIP client levels to ensure sales and operational activities promote revenue, new partner activation, existing partner growth, and reduce attrition.,Address client complaints, manage escalations, and employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues promptly.,Act as the final escalation point for high-priority partner issues and oversee the dispute resolution process for strategic accounts.,Extensive experience (5+ years in a related role, 7-10 years in management/supervisory roles for a VP position) in account management, sales, contract negotiations, or customer-facing financial services roles.,Deep knowledge of the payments processing industry, including procedures, products, and services.,Familiarity with CRM software and data analysis tools.,Ability to support aggressive travel schedule.

Ideal Candidate

A Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field is often required, with some employers preferring an MBA or relevant certifications. Extensive experience (typically 5+ years in a related role, with 7-10 years in management/supervisory roles for a VP position) in account management, sales, contract negotiations, or customer-facing financial services roles.
