VP - Consultant Relations -TD Asset Management

Description

This role is responsible for enhancing TD Global Investment Solutions' (TDGIS) standing within the global investment consultant community. The Vice President will engage in informed dialogue, leverage intellectual credibility, and cultivate sustained relationships to support the evaluation, understanding, and integration of TDGIS's investment capabilities into institutional portfolios. The position aims to strengthen consultant understanding, facilitate positive research outcomes, and reinforce TDGIS's relevance across various asset classes and strategies, contributing directly to institutional growth.

What We're Looking For

Serve as a primary point of contact for global and regional investment consultants, building relationships based on transparency, consistency, and investment insight.,Work with the Consultant Relations team, primarily covering Canada and the United States, with global coordination as needed.,Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Client Portfolio Management teams to articulate TDGIS's investment philosophies, research frameworks, and sources of long-term returns across traditional and alternative strategies.,Participate in consultant research, due diligence, and evaluation processes, ensuring high-quality preparation and clear communication of the firm's investment capabilities.,Support the development and implementation of a structured consultant engagement strategy with the broader Consultant Relations and institutional distribution teams.,Monitor consultant sentiment, research perspectives, and market trends, synthesizing insights to inform internal positioning and strategic priorities.,Represent TDGIS at consultant forums, industry conferences, and external events.

Ideal Candidate

Relevant experience in institutional asset management, investment consulting, or a related field with exposure to the investment consultant landscape.,Strong understanding of institutional portfolio construction and asset allocation, including traditional and alternative investment strategies.,Ability to credibly engage with senior consultants and investment professionals on complex investment topics.,Analytical mindset to translate investment concepts into clear narratives.,Sound judgment, professionalism, and comfort in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.,Excellent written and verbal communication skills for sophisticated institutional audiences.

Minimum Education

Undergraduate degree, CFA designation, Actuarial qualification
