Vice President, Regulatory Management & Remediation

The TD Securities U.S. Regulatory Management & Remediation team is seeking a Vice President to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of key regulatory initiatives for the US Wholesale business. This role involves building foundational capabilities, providing strategic oversight for remediation, and collaborating with senior leaders across various departments including TDS, Risk, Legal, HR, and Compliance. The Vice President will be accountable for end-to-end delivery across business and technology, making key assessments, facilitating agile delivery approaches, and managing resources, risks, and financials to meet regulatory and business objectives.

What We're Looking For

Accountability for leading end-to-end delivery across all business and technology aspects of projects, maximizing efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.,Responsible for key assessments across multiple stakeholders and aligning technology and regulatory objectives into a shared delivery vision.,Facilitating the breaking down of overall vision and roadmap into executable parts using Rapid, TD Agile PDLC delivery approaches.,Providing leadership to technology and business partners to turn requirements into timely and cost-effective solutions.,Establishing and managing resource plans, issues, risks, and financial plans to support the roadmap.,Anticipating issues, trends, and potential impacts, and timely resolution of impediments, while effectively managing program schedule and financials.,Coordinating with respective enterprise control partners (e.g., EPDE, Strategic Sourcing Group, Legal, TRMIS, OCDO) to manage external service providers.,Supporting the end-to-end delivery of high complexity project deliverables with many cross-functional and stakeholder dependencies.,Managing a diverse range of stakeholders to meet program requirements and project objectives.,Providing timely updates on project status, analyses, and findings to senior management and various stakeholders.,Conducting ongoing oversight and review to ensure effective implementation of Change Delivery initiatives through requirement building and stream planning.,Providing support to management by leading stakeholder management activities and communication through stream deliverables.,Understanding and managing cross-stream interdependencies.,Assisting with tracking project tasks, dependencies, and requirement gaps, ensuring traction and resolution on all items.,Identifying and escalating issues to appropriate individuals/groups for prompt attention/resolution.,Ensuring all infrastructure build activities are supported by adequate documentation.,Providing coaching and direction to junior members of the team.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's Degree in any field of study.,7+ years of prior experience in organizational change management activities.,In-depth understanding and subject matter expertise in self-clearing, with experience in Futures preferred.,Prior experience with delivering technology for clearing (self or client) is considered an asset.,Superior understanding of the end-to-end clearing workflow, with in-depth knowledge of the operational aspects.,Established rapport with various stakeholders throughout the bank.,Knowledge of project delivery methodologies (including PDLC and TD Agile scaling frameworks).,Strong working knowledge of project management techniques and tools including Microsoft Project, JIRA and Confluence.,Knowledge of Capital Markets and regulatory requirements.,Ability to apply industry frameworks and techniques.,Prior experience with delivering major regulatory programs and/or infrastructure implementations is an asset.,In-depth familiarity with market risk, valuation, data science or accounting concepts obtained through previous experience in a capital markets function.,High level understanding of financial products and models.,CFA or FRM designation an asset.
