This Vice President role in Investment Banking at TD Securities focuses on providing product and coverage expertise, transaction execution, and client relationship management. The role involves developing transaction ideas, generating revenue across various product areas, executing deals, and maintaining strong client relationships. Key responsibilities also include structuring and delivering high-impact presentations and ensuring confidentiality of client information.

What We're Looking For

Develop transaction ideas and discuss with senior coverage team members.,Develop revenue across all product areas and execute transactions.,Demonstrate relevant market/industry/product knowledge.,Structure/deliver high impact presentations.,Maintain client relationships and keep them informed as deals progress.,Liaise and/or interact with clients at all levels (CFO, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, CEO).,Execute on deals, generating or contributing to increases in revenue levels.,Establish an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to Bank policies.,Maintain confidentiality of client information.,Provide expertise and support to senior coverage team members in transaction execution and deal structure.,Develop recommendations/ideas for transactions and revenue generation.,Manage deals/transactions as they progress, escalating issues as required.,Act as an experienced specialist for an assigned business or portfolio.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics preferred.,5-7 years of related experience.,At least 3 years of experience within the Financial Institutions sector.,Transaction experience leading financial advisory services, including M&A, Equity, and Debt financings for Financial Institutions companies.,Development and oversight of detailed financial analyses with sophisticated understanding of underlying sector dynamics.,Demonstrated experience managing deal teams and training and developing team members, including topics such as industry trends, financial modeling, and transaction processes.,Series 7, 79 and 63 registrations.
