Vice President, Global Investment Banking, Power, Utilities & Infrastructure

Description

This role is for a Vice President in RBC's Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PU&I) group. The successful candidate will be crucial in originating and executing transactions for clients across various sub-sectors like Energy Transition, Utilities, and Infrastructure. The position involves supporting clients with a range of investment banking products and services, including M&A advisory, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, and Hedging.

What We're Looking For

Execute M&A advisory and financing transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients.,Develop financial models forecasting operating and financial results, cash flow, and credit metrics.,Create marketing materials like confidential information memorandums and teasers.,Develop industry expertise through in-depth research of trends, market participants, and opportunities.,Partner with clients and third-party consultants for due diligence on transactions.,Create pitch book materials for client discussions illustrating advice and capabilities.,Other duties as reasonably required.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree or equivalent,Excellent written & verbal communication skills,Experience building financial models and analyzing financial statements,Prior experience in investment banking,Prior experience with mergers & acquisitions transactions,Ability to conduct independent research on industry and company trends,Familiarity with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook,Nice to Have: prior experience in Power, Utilities & Infrastructure
