Vice President, Global Investment Banking, ECM

Description

This role is for a Vice President on the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) desk, focusing on bridging origination and execution for equity capital raises. The position involves developing client relationships, managing transaction workstreams, advising corporate clients on equity issuance strategies, and contributing to market intelligence and deal structuring processes.

What We're Looking For

Lead end-to-end execution of equity transactions (IPOs, FOs, Blocks, Converts), including managing deal timelines and coordinating with internal desks, clients, and external counsel.,Drive origination efforts by identifying equity issuance opportunities across sectors, developing client-ready market update materials, and contributing to pitch strategy.,Provide clients with real-time market insights, investor demand analysis, and pricing recommendations by synthesizing inputs from Syndicate, Sales, and Trading.,Oversee the work product of Analysts and Associates, setting quality standards for pitchbooks, roadshow materials, and transaction analyses.,Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors to inform deal structuring and book-building strategy.,Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, compliance, and external advisors to ensure timely execution.,Contribute to the development of thought leadership on ECM market trends, sector dynamics, and capital markets strategy for client dialogue.

Ideal Candidate

5-7 years of investment banking or capital markets experience preferred, with meaningful ECM transaction experience.,Ability to manage multiple live deals and an active pitch calendar with limited oversight.,Strong client presence and communication skills.,Deep fluency in ECM dynamics.,Proven ability to mentor and develop junior talent.
