This role involves providing expertise in derivatives structuring to support sales and trading teams, particularly in North America. The Vice President will help build infrastructure for new products, champion automation, develop product ideas, prepare marketing materials, and assist with complex pricing requests. Key responsibilities also include contributing to platform development, designing reports, supporting product innovation, and identifying operational risks.
Provide structuring expertise and support to local sales and trading.,Assist with building infrastructure for new products and risk management.,Champion automation efforts for North American sales.,Support Sales with product development, structuring ideas, and linking with GE structuring desks.,Prepare marketing materials and analysis for Structured Products.,Ensure timely processing of price requests for non-flow structures and assist traders with complex structures.,Liaise with the Structuring Team for price checks.,Contribute to platform development projects for service improvement and product development.,Design reports (factsheets, performance reports).,Assist BT/RAD in automation.,Engage in product innovation and bespoke solutions.,Support Canada Equity Derivatives Structured product sales teams with trade ideas.,Draft marketing material content and complex term sheets.,Work with the global team on product offering projects.,Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies.,Review and comply with Firm Policies.,Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies, and risks promptly.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Finance, Operations Research, or a related field.,5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.,5 years of experience in:,Designing, pricing, and structuring financial products based on underlying equity assets.,Understanding institutional and retail clients' needs for structured products.,Building marketing material for structured products.,Equity derivatives structured product sales processes and supporting infrastructure.,Equity derivatives structured product capabilities and product framework.,Statistics and probability (derivatives pricing, games theory, regression and stochastic calculus), numerical and time series analysis.,QIS products, including designing, researching, and testing them.,Creating relevant strategies with a quantitative investment strategies team.,Third-party distribution platforms and mapping structured products.,Legal and compliance constraints in equity derivatives solutions.
