Vice President - Treasury Solutions - Financial Institutions, Global Transaction Banking, TD Securities

This role is for a Vice President in the Financial Institutions division of Global Transaction Banking (GTB) at TD Securities. GTB is a key growth area for TDS, focusing on innovative solutions for payments, liquidity, and working capital for large and sophisticated clients across various segments. The Vice President will primarily manage sales and client relationships for financial institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on product profitability, client service, and risk management. The role involves contributing to projects that address client challenges and shape the future of banking in a rapidly evolving industry.

What We're Looking For

Manage Financial Institutions Sales and Relationship Management for targeted clients and markets, aiming to exceed revenue targets for the Americas region.,Expand client coverage to include Central Banks and Sovereign Wealth Funds.,Understand and negotiate core trade finance products (LC, SBLC, Trade Loans).,Deepen existing client relationships and cross-sell product offerings across TD Securities.,Prepare business analytic materials, new presentation materials, relationship matrix templates, and pricing reviews.,Conduct market research and competitor analysis for key regional markets.,Track and manage referral deals to other business partners.,Perform KYC due diligence and support KYC/AML requests for Financial Institution clients.,Work closely with senior leaders to articulate strategic vision and define GTB's customer value proposition.,Stay updated on evolving payments and receivables market offerings, including Fintech, Vendors, and FIs.,Understand changes across the payment landscape (ACH, Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, real-time payments, FedNow, ISO) to identify solutions for corporate treasury needs.,Possess a good understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape across North America.,Act as the "Voice of the Customer" to understand client needs and influence technology/process development.,Partner with the origination team to advise corporate treasury clients with subject matter expertise in the cash management and payments.,Provide internal and client-facing thought leadership in cash management and treasury innovations.,Be an innovative product owner, adopting new ways of working to solve client challenges or improve operating efficiency.,Develop eminence and represent GTB at industry forums (AFP, SWIFT, Fed).,Take ownership and accountability for all related products and platforms, ensuring a frictionless client experience.,Work with senior leaders to identify new opportunities and manage activities across functions (project management, risk and compliance, legal, technology, operations).,May mentor and develop junior members.

Ideal Candidate

Strong business acumen and client Relationship Management skills.,Team-oriented attitude and high emotional intelligence (EQ).,Strong interpersonal and communication skills.,Keen interest in developing client relationships and growing franchise collaboration.,Experience and/or knowledge of Global Transaction Banking Businesses.,Good understanding of core trade finance products (LC, SBLC, Trade Loans).,Knowledge of the technology and operations involved in wire payments, paper clearing, and the Canadian Payments settlement system is an asset.,Prior experience in a Financial Institution coverage role with relevant product knowledge is advantageous.,Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and commitment.,Effective organizational skills and flexibility for adapting to changing priorities.,Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.,Strong work ethic and commitment to business goals and high professional standards.,Sound knowledge of MS Office applications.,Industry experience and accreditations (CFA, CTP, etc.) are highly desirable.,Strong leadership, persuasion, presentation, and communication skills.,Proactive, positive attitude with a desire to learn.,Results-oriented and comfortable dealing with ambiguous or uncertain situations.,Capable of managing sophisticated relationships and recognizing broader opportunities.,Ability to perform detailed analysis and see the bigger picture, using empirical data.,Acts decisively while working effectively in teams.
