Vendor Analyst II

Description

This role provides research, evaluation, operational, reporting, and analytical support for assigned vendor relationships and/or business units. The primary objective is to enhance operational efficiencies, achieve savings, and ensure effective oversight, all while aligning with business and enterprise goals. The position may also involve conducting complex analysis and reporting at an enterprise level.

What We're Looking For

Monitor, analyze, and report on Third Party performance against SLAs, SLOs, KPIs, or other contractual commitments.,Monitor spend against the financial terms of Business Arrangements.,Use processes or tools to validate and identify issues and variances pertaining to invoices, and facilitate invoice settlement.,Understand and contribute knowledge of Business Arrangement terms and scope changes.,Create and maintain governance processes for effective asset management if Business Arrangement involves licenses or assets.,Verify negotiated rates, volume thresholds, and financial commitments against baselines.,Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners, vendors, and stakeholders.,Act as a key resource by providing relevant information/data/guidance on procedures and/or issues.,Participate in working sessions and/or facilitate meetings to develop effective relationships.,Contribute to vendor related operational activities such as report production, system queries, process mapping, specialized tracking, analysis, and transactional procedural support.,Support the development and/or implementation of SLAs, SLOs, KPIs, or other contractual commitments.,Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures relating to managing Business Arrangements through all stages of the TPML.,Identify issues and monitor trends with a Third Party to reduce risk.,Exercise discretion in managing confidential correspondence and information, escalating issues where appropriate.,Protect organizational interests by identifying and managing risks, and escalating non-standard, high-risk activities.,Conduct internal and external research projects and support the development/delivery of presentations.,Focus on continuous improvements to facilitate Third Party Business Arrangements and promote effective Third Party delivery.,Acquire and apply expertise in the discipline, providing guidance, assistance, and direction to others.,Maintain a culture of risk management and control.,May lead work streams as a project lead/subject matter expert for small-scale projects.,Participate as a team member, support a positive work environment, and ensure timely communication of issues.,Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise and participate in knowledge transfer.,Keep current on emerging trends/developments and grow knowledge of the business.,Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross-training.,Keep others informed about project status and day-to-day activities.,Assist others in work completion, providing training, coaching, and/or guidance.,Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment.,Act as a brand ambassador for the business area/function and the bank.

Ideal Candidate
