Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Vacation Relief in the Cheese Production Department in Saskatoon, SK. This role involves packaging products on a production line according to specifications, ensuring proper sealing, and maintaining food safety and quality standards. This position has the potential to become a Casual role after September 30th if the candidate is successful.

What We're Looking For

Handle processed, unpackaged cheese products directly.,Supply the production line with product and place it into packaging material.,Ensure product is properly sealed.,Attend scheduled shifts punctually and be ready to fulfill all duties.,Meet daily performance targets.,Participate in job rotation.,Assist in setup, changeovers, and tear down of machinery and equipment.,Participate in daily mandatory stretching program.,Immediately report all food safety, quality issues, and health and safety concerns/infractions.,Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.,Complete daily sanitation duties.,Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).,Adhere to good hand washing practices for food safety.,Comply with all Saputo Saskatoon Health and Safety, Food Safety and Quality regulations.,Comply with all Saputo Saskatoon policies and procedures.,Focus on customer satisfaction.,Take on additional duties, as required.

Ideal Candidate

Food/dairy/manufacturing experience (an asset).,Accuracy.,Attention to detail.,Good communication skills.,Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.,Good hand-eye coordination.,Ability to multitask.,Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.,Team player, but also able to work independently.,Motivated, positive, and proactive.,Reliable and committed to quality and customer satisfaction.,Quick learner who easily adapts to change.,Able to work overtime, statutory holidays, and weekends, as required.

Work Hours

Afternoons and Nights up to 40 Hours a week, includes weekends.

Special Commitments
