Underwriter II, TDAF

Description

This role involves reviewing and approving credit applications for customers, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. The Underwriter II will collaborate with internal partners, offering expert credit advice and solutions throughout the adjudication process, while upholding service level agreements and managing risks.

What We're Looking For

Review, analyze, and evaluate credit applications within discretionary lending limits.

Provide professional credit support, solutions, recommendations, and advice to business partners.

Ensure efficient and effective credit decisions meeting service level agreements.

Handle customer concerns and issues promptly.

Prioritize workload to meet SLAs for service and productivity.

Manage confidential information discreetly.

Make well-rationalized credit decisions in compliance with guidelines.

Ensure accurate and proper credit underwriting/adjudication.

Identify and manage risks, escalating high-risk activities.

Maintain and apply Credit and Risk expertise.

Keep updated on emerging credit trends, regulatory requirements, and their impacts.

Participate in team activities, support a positive work environment, and contribute to knowledge transfer.

Ideal Candidate

First-level professional experience in credit underwriting/adjudication, focusing on moderately complex credit products.

Intermediate knowledge of credit products, end-to-end credit processes, and systems for own specialized area.

Intermediate understanding of the operating environment, business processes, and transaction lifecycle.

Intermediate level knowledge with some form of related training and/or related experience or skills.

Ability to execute on routine requests.

Identifies key operational/reporting/process issues.

Provides thorough analysis and/or specialized reporting or operational/process support.

Requires general understanding of the overall function and/or businesses supported.

Requires some understanding of complexity in operational/reporting/process and/or analysis function.

Minimum Education
