Treasury Management Sales Associate

Description

The Treasury Management Sales Associate role at CIBC Bank USA focuses on developing an understanding of treasury management services, processes, and risks. The associate will undergo training, job shadowing, and hands-on learning to eventually support Advisors independently within 12-18 months. Key responsibilities include understanding account structures, assisting with projects, and actively participating in client interactions to support their cash management needs.

What We're Looking For

Complete two rotations of formal treasury management training (video, presentations, exercises, case studies),Complete job shadowing circuit (4-6 months, 1-2 sessions/day, 3-4 days/week),Complete product knowledge sessions with manager,Complete treasury management systems and process training,Learn and demonstrate full understanding of account structure template, rebuilds, review process, proforma/proposal generation, implementation/service case processes, analysis process, and core Treasury Management systems (Insight, XAA, SalesForce, D1 BST, BIC),Assist with projects for the betterment of the Treasury Management team,Develop an effective system for organizing and prioritizing assignments, tasks, and follow-ups,Begin actively supporting portfolio maintenance needs of one or more Advisors,Actively participate in routine trainings to improve knowledge of products, process, and the Associate role,Participate in client calls and meetings with Advisors (in person calls, local or national, may occasionally be required)

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree,Coursework or prior work experience focused on sales, marketing, and/or communications is beneficial but not required,1-2 years of professional experience
