Description
KPMG Language Services is seeking a permanent, full-time remote Translator for their external translation team in Montreal. The role focuses on translating financial documents from English to French, contributing to terminology databases, and managing projects. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in financial translation within a professional environment and strong language proficiency in both English and French.
What We're Looking For
Translate various financial documents from English to French, including financial statements, management reports, and sustainability reports.
Conduct terminology research and contribute to the team's terminology database.
Meet deadlines and adhere to high quality standards.
Manage large-scale projects.
Collaborate effectively with team members.
Maximize the use of translation tools and engage in continuous learning.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree in Translation or equivalent diploma.
At least three years of experience in translation, primarily in accounting and finance, within a structured professional environment or at an accounting firm.
Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
Excellent proficiency in both French and English, with the ability to translate complex financial documents while adhering to high quality standards.
Member of OTTIAQ or an equivalent organization (an asset).
