This role as a Treasury Management Officer (TMO) II involves independently developing new Treasury Management (TM) business and expanding existing TM relationships. The TMO II is expected to grow revenue through portfolio fee expansion and new sales, executing a business plan to achieve revenue goals. The position requires strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, representing Treasury Management and TD Bank in strategic settings.
Build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with Relationship Managers and other channel sales partners.,Serve as the trusted advisor for clients with cash management needs to develop, manage and retain profitable customer relationships.,Independently create and execute a sales and marketing strategy that achieves established market penetration, cross-sell, revenue and customer acquisition goals.,Expand and retain business customers by identifying needs and challenging customers with insights.,Lead the prospecting effort and coordinate a deal team to pursue opportunities.,Partner with Relationship Managers in performing strategic dialogues to turn prospects into clients.,Lead or participate in relationship management by identifying customer needs, provide solutions, make in-person customer calls.,Advise Relationship Managers on fee revenue decisions.,Manage portfolio to deepen existing relationships through proactive identification of solutions to meet customer needs.,Build and maintain strong networks with Centers of Influence (COI's).,Collaborate with Relationship Managers on customer relationships to ensure unified approach to meeting customer Banking needs.,Partner with Sales Associate to deliver comprehensive recommendations based on customer cash management needs, relationship reviews and leadership to provide an excellent customer experience.,Ensure customers and internal partners are leveraging the proper cash management functions: Treasury Management Solutions, Service and Implementation and partner appropriately with Sales Associates.,Advance the TD Treasury Management brand by using industry expertise, conducting in-market customer and prospect presentations, seminars, lunch & learns, etc.,Record accurately sales activities such as pipeline opportunities, calls, and customer notes in Salesforce.,Follow procedural guidelines to leverage Implementation team to ensuring superior on-boarding and excellent client experience.,Accountable for document origination and execution for Master Cash Management Agreement, Product(s) and Customer Due Diligence.,Be the subject matter expert on all Treasury Management.,Represent the organization at various industry conferences, regional events, regional business meetings, in-market functions, and with regional centers of influence both internally and externally.,Speak at Treasury Management and industry segment events.,Adhere to all Risk policies and procedures.,Possess financial acumen and provide relationship revenue advice to Relationship Managers.,Navigate the bank to deliver relationship revenue and an excellent customer experience.
4-year degree or equivalent experience.,7+ years related experience required.,Proven sales skills (e.g. closing, client retention).,Proven ability to interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner to provide exceptional customer service and grow business.,Proven Interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully negotiate and persuade.,Proven organizational and time management skills.,Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.,Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.,Proven PC skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.,Preferred: Treasury sales experience.
