Description

This role supports the CIBC Asset Management National Sales Team by fostering relationships, providing sales assistance, and handling administrative tasks. The primary goal is to enhance advisors' understanding and confidence in CIBC Asset Management products. Key responsibilities include organizing client events, managing inquiries, maintaining calendars, generating reports, coordinating with product and marketing teams, and identifying process improvements to streamline operations.

What We're Looking For

Support the National Sales Team in building advisors' knowledge of CIBC Asset Management Solutions,

Organize sales support events, coordinate external resources (e.g., venue, portfolio managers, speakers), and prepare presentation material for client events,

Assist with meeting bookings and coordination to support relationship-building and inquiry handling,

Maintain calendar of activities, generate reports, and manage databases related to sales results and activity tracking,

Perform key administrative tasks, including managing expenses and travel arrangements,

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and maximize effectiveness of activities,

Participate in projects in a coordinative capacity and represent CIBC Asset Management when required,

Contribute to developing synergy among Territory Coordinator team members and Asset Management product and marketing teams by promoting a positive work environment,

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CIBC Asset Management products

Ideal Candidate

Knowledge of mutual funds and managed products,

Successfully completed the CSC or IFIC (asset),

Strong communication skills,

Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities,

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision,

Goal-oriented and motivated by accomplishing goals,

Digitally savvy, seeking innovative solutions and embracing evolving technologies,

Ability to adapt to new tools and trends,

Advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Minimum Education

Certification / Diploma (CSC or IFIC an asset)
