Description

The Teller II is responsible for delivering excellent customer experiences by accurately and efficiently processing banking transactions, while also educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to partners for specialized solutions. The role involves managing cash transactions, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise by delivering a Legendary Customer experience,Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently,Process cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with a high level of accuracy,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating to management as necessary,Engage in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow, welcoming customers, and guiding appropriately,Understand customer preferences and educate on self-service/digital options,Act as an advocate for the customer by conducting needs-based conversations, offering financial & digital solutions, and/or referring to appropriate partners,Train and act as a mentor to new Tellers,Assist supervisors with daily duties as directed by Store leadership,Ensure compliance with operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act),Verify customers' identities by following authentication policies & procedures,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, TCDs/TCRs as necessary,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures/operations and guidelines,Be responsible and accountable for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash at all times,Ensure confidential customer information is securely stored throughout the day,Understand the importance of and follow dual control,Follow all security and audit measures to minimize potential loss,Utilize bank tools and processes to detect, address and prevent fraud,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by established due dates

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED,1 year teller or cash handling experience preferred,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred,Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled
