Description

The Teller II is responsible for providing legendary customer experiences within a TD Store location by accurately and efficiently processing everyday banking transactions. This role involves educating customers on TD's products and services, or referring them to specialists, and actively engaging in lobby leadership. The Teller II also helps train new tellers, assists supervisors, and ensures compliance with banking regulations and security measures.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise by delivering a Legendary Customer experience.,Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently.,Process cash transactions (cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, night deposits) with high accuracy.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating when necessary.,Engage in lobby leadership to manage customer flow and welcome customers.,Educate customers on self-service/digital banking options.,Conduct needs-based conversations, offering financial and digital solutions, and referring to appropriate partners.,Train and mentor new Tellers.,Assist supervisors with daily duties as directed.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Verify customer identities following authentication policies.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and TCDs/TCRs.,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.,Responsible for cash drawers and vaults, including maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash.,Accountable for securing confidential customer information.,Understand and follow dual control procedures.,Follow all security and audit measures to minimize loss.,Utilize bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED,1 year teller or cash handling experience preferred,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred,Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled,Strong organizational skills,Detail-oriented,Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment,Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent
