Description

The Teller I at TD Bank works in a store location, focusing on providing excellent customer service by accurately processing daily banking transactions. This role involves educating customers on TD's products and services, guiding them through self-service options, and referring them to partners for specialized solutions. The Teller I is also responsible for maintaining compliance, managing cash, and preventing fraud.

What We're Looking For

Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently.,Handle cash transactions like cashing checks, verifying currency, and balancing cash drawers with high accuracy.,Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating issues when necessary.,Manage customer flow in the lobby and guide customers appropriately.,Conduct needs-based conversations to offer financial and digital solutions or refer customers to partners.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Verify customer identities following established policies and procedures.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers/Recyclers as needed.,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.,Manage cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash at all times.,Securely store confidential customer information.,Understand and follow dual control procedures.,Follow all security and audit measures to minimize loss.,Utilize bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,6 months of work-related experience preferred, or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.,Ability to work operating hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.,Strong organizational skills.,Detail-oriented.,Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.,Excellent communication skills (concise, clear, consistent).
