Description

The Teller I is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing banking transactions and educating customers on TD's products and services. This role involves handling cash, resolving inquiries, promoting self-service options, and making referrals for specialized solutions.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise by delivering legendary customer experiences.,Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan, and safe deposit box payments efficiently.,Process cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with high accuracy.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating to management when necessary.,Engage in lobby leadership by managing customer flow and guiding customers.,Educate customers on self-service/digital banking options.,Act as a customer advocate by conducting needs-based conversations and offering financial/digital solutions or referrals.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.,Ensure compliance with operational activities according to company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act).,Verify customer identities following authentication policies.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers (TCDs)/Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs) as needed.,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.,Be responsible and accountable for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash.,Ensure confidential customer information is securely stored.,Understand and follow dual control procedures.,Follow all security and audit measures to minimize potential loss.,Utilize bank tools and processes to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,6 months of work-related experience preferred; equivalent experience through volunteering, education, or military is acceptable.,Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.,Demonstrated customer service skills preferred.,Strong organizational skills.,Detail-oriented.,Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.,Excellent communication skills (concise, clear, and consistent).
