Description

The Teller I is responsible for delivering legendary customer experiences in a TD Store location by accurately and efficiently processing everyday banking transactions. This role also involves educating customers on TD's products and services and referring them to partners for specialized solutions.

What We're Looking For

Deliver legendary customer experiences by consistently executing appropriate behaviors.,Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan, and safe deposit box payments efficiently.,Process cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawers, and night deposits with a high level of accuracy.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating to management as necessary.,Engage in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow, welcoming customers, and guiding them appropriately.,Understand customer banking preferences and educate them on self-service/digital options.,Act as a customer advocate by conducting needs-based conversations, offering financial & digital solutions, and/or referring to appropriate partners.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution, escalating difficult issues to management.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act) to minimize risk.,Verify customer identities by following authentication policies and procedures.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers (TCDs)/Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs) as necessary.,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.,Be responsible and accountable for cash drawers and vaults, including maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash.,Ensure confidential customer information is securely stored throughout the day.,Understand and follow dual control procedures.,Follow all security and audit measures to minimize potential loss.,Utilize bank tools and processes to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by established due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,6 months work related experience preferred; equivalent can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.
