This role at a TD Bank store in Flushing, New York, involves providing legendary customer service and accurately processing various banking transactions. The Teller I will educate customers on TD's products and services, identify specialized financial solutions, and ensure compliance with banking regulations. Key responsibilities include managing cash, ensuring customer information security, and engaging with customers to understand their banking preferences. Bilingual proficiency in Korean or Mandarin is preferred.

What We're Looking For

Deliver legendary customer experiences and execute TD's Brand promise.,Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan, and safe deposit box payments efficiently.,Process cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with high accuracy.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating to management as necessary.,Engage in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow and warmly welcoming customers.,Educate customers on self-service/digital banking options.,Conduct needs-based conversations to offer financial & digital solutions and/or refer to appropriate partners.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.,Ensure compliance with operational activities according to company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act).,Verify customers' identities by following authentication policies & procedures.,Balance cash drawers, Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), and Teller Cash Dispensers (TCDs)/Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs).,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures/operations and guidelines.,Responsible and accountable for cash drawers and vaults, including maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash at all times.,Accountable for ensuring confidential customer information is securely stored.,Understand and follow dual control.,Follow all security and audit measures to minimize potential loss.,Utilize bank tools and processes to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom training and online training by established due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,6 months work related experience preferred; or equivalent can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.
