Description

The Teller I position at TD Bank involves providing excellent customer service by accurately processing daily banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Key responsibilities include handling cash, resolving customer inquiries, educating customers on TD's products and digital services, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and actively working to prevent fraud. The role requires engaging with customers in the lobby and guiding them to appropriate solutions.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise to customers by consistently delivering a Legendary Customer experience.,Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently.,Process cash transactions (cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, night deposits) with high accuracy.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating to management as necessary.,Engage in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow, welcoming customers, and guiding appropriately.,Understand customer banking preferences and educate them on self-service/digital options.,Conduct needs-based conversations, offering financial & digital solutions, or referring to appropriate partners.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Verify customers' identities by following authentication policies and procedures.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers/Recyclers as necessary.,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.,Maintain appropriate cash limits and secure cash at all times within cash drawers and vaults.,Ensure confidential customer information is securely stored.,Follow dual control, security, and audit measures to minimize potential loss.,Utilize bank tools and processes to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by established due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,6 months work related experience preferred, or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.,Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.
