The Teller I at a TD Store location delivers exceptional customer experiences by accurately processing banking transactions, educating customers on TD's products and services, and referring them to partners for specialized solutions. Key aspects include executing TD's brand promise, managing cash transactions with precision, resolving customer inquiries, and guiding customer flow in the lobby. The role involves conducting needs-based conversations to offer financial and digital solutions, making sound decisions, and proactively addressing fraud prevention.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise to customers by consistently demonstrating appropriate behaviors to deliver a Legendary Customer experience in the Store.,Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently.,Process cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with a high level of accuracy.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns using standard procedures and escalating to management as necessary.,Engage in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow, warmly welcoming customers, and guiding appropriately.,Understand customer preferences with banking and educate customers on self-service/digital options that meet their needs.,Act as an advocate for the customer by conducting needs-based conversations; offering financial & digital solutions, and/or referring the customer to appropriate partner to provide solutions.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution, escalating more difficult issues to management.,Utilize bank tools and processes to detect, address and prevent fraud.,Accountable for ensuring confidential customer information is securely stored throughout the day and following dual control and security/audit measures.

Ideal Candidate

HS Diploma or GED,1+ years' experience working with customers and or sales in any capacity or equivalent demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, military experience preferred,Must be able to complete teller training upon hire to take customer transactions,Demonstrated ability to engage in customer conversations while educating them on products and services preferred,Teller experience preferred,Notary License (Preferred)
