Description

The Teller I position at TD Bank involves providing excellent customer service, processing banking transactions accurately, educating customers on TD's products and services, and referring them to specialized solutions. The role requires engaging in lobby leadership, understanding customer preferences, and acting as a customer advocate by offering financial and digital solutions. It also includes ensuring compliance with banking regulations, verifying customer identities, managing cash drawers, and adhering to security measures to prevent fraud.

What We're Looking For

Consistently execute behaviors to deliver a legendary customer experience.,Perform customer transactions efficiently (deposits, withdrawals, loan/safe deposit box payments).,Process cash transactions accurately (cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, night deposits).,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.,Engage in lobby leadership and guide customers.,Educate customers on self-service/digital options.,Conduct needs-based conversations and offer financial/digital solutions or referrals.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Verify customer identities.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, TCDs/TCRs.,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures.,Maintain appropriate cash limits and secure cash.,Ensure confidential customer information is securely stored.,Understand and follow dual control.,Follow security and audit measures to minimize loss.,Utilize bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED,6 months work related experience preferred; or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, military experience,Ability to work during operating hours to include weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred,Strong organizational skills,Detail-oriented,Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment,Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent
