Description

This role at a TD Store location focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences by accurately processing daily banking transactions, educating customers on TD products and services, and making referrals to specialized partners. Key responsibilities include handling deposits, withdrawals, and payments, managing cash transactions with high accuracy, resolving customer inquiries, and leading lobby flow. The Teller also identifies customer needs, offers financial and digital solutions, and ensures compliance with banking regulations to minimize risk and prevent fraud. Continuous learning and adherence to security protocols are also essential.

What We're Looking For

Consistently deliver a Legendary Customer experience.,Efficiently process customer transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan/safe deposit box payments).,Accurately process cash transactions, including cashing checks, verifying currency, and balancing the cash drawer.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, escalating when necessary.,Engage in lobby leadership: manage customer flow, welcome, and guide customers.,Educate customers on self-service and digital banking options.,Conduct needs-based conversations to offer financial and digital solutions, and refer to appropriate partners.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Verify customer identities following established policies.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers/Recyclers as needed.,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and operations.,Maintain accountability for cash drawers and vaults, including appropriate cash limits and security.,Secure confidential customer information.,Follow dual control and all security and audit measures to minimize loss.,Utilize bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,6 months work related experience preferred; or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.,Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.,Strong organizational skills.,Detail-oriented.,Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.,Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
