Description

The Teller I at TD Bank's Store location is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by accurately and efficiently processing banking transactions. This role involves educating customers on TD's products and services, or referring them to appropriate partners for specialized solutions. Key responsibilities also include executing TD's brand promise to deliver a legendary customer experience.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise by delivering a Legendary Customer experience in the Store.

Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan, and safe deposit box payments efficiently.

Process cash transactions (cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, night deposits) with high accuracy.

Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Engage in lobby leadership, orchestrating customer flow and warmly welcoming customers.

Educate customers on self-service/digital options.

Conduct needs-based conversations, offering financial and digital solutions or making referrals to partners.

Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.

Ensure compliance with operational activities and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).

Verify customers' identities following authentication policies.

Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers (TCDs)/Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs).

Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.

Responsible and accountable for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash.

Utilize bank tools and processes to detect, address and prevent fraud.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.

6 months work related experience preferred; or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.

Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.

Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.

Strong organizational skills.

Detail-oriented.

Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
