Description

The Teller I at TD Bank is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by accurately and efficiently processing daily banking transactions. This role involves educating customers on TD's products and services, referring them to specialists for specific solutions, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and security procedures.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise by consistently delivering a Legendary Customer experience.,Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan, and safe deposit box payments efficiently.,Process cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with high accuracy.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating to management when necessary.,Engage in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow and welcoming customers.,Educate customers on self-service/digital options that meet their banking needs.,Act as an advocate for the customer by conducting needs-based conversations and offering financial/digital solutions or referrals.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution, escalating difficult issues.,Ensure compliance with operational activities and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act) to minimize risk.,Verify customers' identities following authentication policies and procedures.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers (TCDs)/Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs).,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.,Responsible and accountable for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash.,Ensure confidential customer information is securely stored.,Understand and follow dual control procedures.,Follow all security and audit measures to minimize potential loss.,Utilize bank tools and processes to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by established due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,6 months work related experience preferred; or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.,Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.,Strong organizational skills.,Detail-oriented.,Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.,Excellent communication skills (concise, clear, and consistent).
