Description

The Teller I at TD Bank's South Glens Falls location is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing banking transactions. This role involves educating customers on banking products, promoting self-service options, resolving inquiries, and adhering to compliance and security guidelines.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise by delivering a Legendary Customer experience,Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently,Process cash transactions (cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, night deposits) with high accuracy,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating when necessary,Engage in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow and welcoming customers,Educate customers on self-service/digital options,Conduct needs-based conversations, offering financial & digital solutions or referring to partners,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution,Ensure compliance with operational activities (Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act),Verify customer identities following authentication policies,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, TCDs/TCRs as necessary,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures,Maintain appropriate cash limits and secure cash at all times,Secure confidential customer information,Follow dual control procedures,Follow all security and audit measures to minimize loss,Utilize bank tools to detect, address and prevent fraud,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by due dates

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED,6 months work related experience preferred; or equivalent can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience,Ability to work during operating hours to include weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled
