Description

The Teller I at a TD Store location provides excellent customer service by processing daily banking transactions accurately and efficiently. This role involves educating customers about TD's products and services, or directing them to specialized partners for solutions. Key responsibilities include handling various customer transactions, managing cash, addressing inquiries, guiding customer flow in the lobby, promoting self-service options, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations to minimize risk.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise by delivering a legendary customer experience.,Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan, and safe deposit box payments efficiently.,Process cash transactions (cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, night deposits) with high accuracy.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating as needed.,Engage in lobby leadership to manage customer flow and welcome customers.,Educate customers on self-service/digital banking options.,Conduct needs-based conversations; offer financial & digital solutions or refer to partners.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.,Ensure compliance with operational activities (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Verify customer identities following authentication policies.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers/Recyclers.,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.,Maintain appropriate cash limits and secure cash at all times.,Ensure confidential customer information is securely stored.,Understand and follow dual control.,Follow all security and audit measures to minimize potential loss.,Utilize bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by established due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,6 months work related experience preferred; or equivalent can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.,Ability to work during operating hours to include weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled.,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.,Strong organizational skills.,Detail-oriented.,Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.,Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
