Description

This role is for a Teller I at a TD Store, focusing on providing excellent customer service by accurately processing banking transactions, educating customers on products and services, and referring them to specialists. The role involves managing cash, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise by delivering a Legendary Customer experience.

Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently.

Process cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with high accuracy.

Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating to management as necessary.

Engage in lobby leadership, orchestrating customer flow and guiding appropriately.

Understand customer preferences and educate on self-service/digital options.

Act as an advocate for the customer by conducting needs-based conversations and offering financial & digital solutions.

Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.

Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).

Verify customers' identities.

Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and TCDs/TCRs.

Adhere to safe deposit box procedures.

Responsible for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash.

Accountable for ensuring confidential customer information is securely stored.

Follow dual control and all security and audit measures.

Utilize bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud.

Complete all required in-classroom and online training.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.

6 months work related experience preferred; or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.

Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled.
