The Teller I role at TD Bank's Royal Palm Beach Okeechobee branch focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences by accurately and efficiently processing banking transactions. Responsibilities include handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks, balancing cash drawers, and resolving customer inquiries. The role also involves educating customers on self-service options, identifying financial needs, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations to minimize risk and prevent fraud. Training is provided, and adherence to security protocols is essential.

What We're Looking For

Deliver legendary customer experiences.,Efficiently perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments.,Accurately process cash transactions like cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawers, and handling night deposits.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, escalating when necessary.,Engage in lobby leadership to orchestrate customer flow and guide customers.,Educate customers on self-service/digital banking options.,Conduct needs-based conversations, offering financial & digital solutions or referring to partners.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Verify customer identities by following authentication policies.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers/Recyclers.,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.,Responsible for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash.,Accountable for securing confidential customer information.,Follow dual control procedures and all security and audit measures to minimize loss.,Utilize bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by established due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,6 months work related experience preferred (can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience).,Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.,Strong organizational skills.,Detail-oriented.,Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.,Excellent communication skills (concise, clear, and consistent).
