Aritzia's Engineering Enablement team is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager/Engineering Manager. This role involves comprehensive talent lifecycle management for a team of high-performing engineers, including hiring, onboarding, performance calibration, and career development. The manager will focus on building high-trust teams, ensuring they are staffed, skilled, and psychologically safe, while driving operational health and excellence in building engineering, data, and AI solutions.
Lead and advance people through end-to-end management across 10 areas: Planning, Hiring, Onboarding, Evaluating, Developing, Engaging, Scheduling, Compensating, Transitioning, and Mitigating.,Ensure team execution against priorities by maintaining operational health (capacity, quality, sustainable pace) and partnering with Tech Leads and TPMs on planning, sequencing, and delivery.,Align individual performance and career planning with departmental goals, and partner with TPMs on capacity planning for headcount and skill mix.,Cultivate a collaborative environment centered on open communication, fostering fearless feedback and blameless retrospectives for continuous improvement.,Ensure teams are properly staffed and skilled to execute product mandates, coaching on DORA metrics to remove blockers and improve throughput.,Partner with Tech Leads to apply DORA and SPACE to balance delivery and sustainability, improving throughput and stability while monitoring engagement and cognitive load to prevent burnout.
