The Compliance Technician will join the Surveillance and Investigations team, supporting the Director in monitoring the commercial practices of intermediaries. This role involves identifying and managing business risks related to distribution activities, utilizing analytical and technical skills in a collaborative and innovative environment, and contributing to the company's mission of ensuring client confidence and security.

What We're Looking For

Monitor the general inbox of the Compliance and Risk Management Department.,Assign assistance requests from internal and external partners to relevant resources.,Open files according to processes and update tracking registers.,Handle requests for information access from regulatory authorities or related entities/partners.,Gather necessary information and documentation for information access requests within deadlines.,Conduct research on intermediaries' compliance history and prepare reports.,Ensure proper maintenance of tracking registers for Surveillance and Investigations team initiatives.,Participate in quarterly accountability reporting.,Accompany and support investigators and team members in surveillance/investigation initiatives, including data extraction and analysis.,Support the Director in preparing executive summaries and presentations for senior management.,Perform any other related tasks.

Ideal Candidate

Legal technician or college diploma in administration, financial services, or related field.,Knowledge in insurance and financial products/services distribution (an asset).,3 to 5 years of relevant experience.,Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English and French.
