Technician II, Utilities Maintenance

Description

This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of GMP/non-GMP process and support equipment. Key duties include troubleshooting, conducting investigations, and supporting reliability engineering for various equipment. The individual acts as the primary responder to equipment issues, resolving them directly or coordinating with service providers.

What We're Looking For

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities, including simple calibrations, following established procedures.,Lead efforts in developing remediation for follow-up and emergency work.,Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment and systems, including developing remediation for complex issues.,Maintain cGMP records (paper-based and electronic).,Understand Asset Management and routine reliability concepts.,Familiarity with operation and maintenance of boilers, autoclaves, washers, filling equipment, and filter integrity testers.,Lead maintenance activities and small projects.,Provide 'on-call' support on a rotating basis and respond to facility issues for 24/7 operation.,Maintain Qualified Trainer qualifications for OJTs and develop OJT records.,Ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment.,Manage contract service providers, including scheduling, training on SOPs, coordination, and ensuring cGMP-compliant documentation.,Administer and perform hazardous energy control procedures and confined space entry.

Ideal Candidate

AS degree or certificate in a science/technical field or a technical trade school.,2nd Fireman License (Boiler Operator's License).
