This role involves training to become proficient in supporting studies, which includes animal handling, husbandry, observations, basic physiological indices, and collecting and recording data. The technician will perform some basic skills independently while continuing to develop others under supervision.

Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) preferred.,Experience: No previous experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.,Certification/Licensure: None.,Excellent written and verbal communication skills.,Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.,Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), with the ability to learn a validated system.,Ability to ensure a safe working environment by observing all safety procedures and using protective clothing and equipment.,Ability to ensure study integrity and fulfill regulatory requirements by following GLP, SOP, BOP, and IACUC rules.,Ability to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.,Ability to work under specific time constraints.,Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsorship visa, now or in the future.
