Description

The role involves joining Bell Canada's Field Services team, which is responsible for delivering services to consumers and businesses across Canada. The technician will be on the frontline, providing excellent customer experience by installing, repairing, and maintaining Bell's services and network for residential and business customers. The position is within the Ontario Field Operations team, focusing on maintaining the outside cable network for voice and data services.

What We're Looking For

Install, maintain, and repair various telecommunication equipment for Voice, Internet, and IPTV markets for business customers according to established practices.,Respond to customer needs and inform them about equipment and service utilization.,Escalate issues beyond their control to support teams.,Build relationships and interact with clients and various Bell Canada groups.,Perform functions efficiently and stay updated with emerging telecommunication technology.,Agree to undergo a background security check if required for customer clearance.,Hold a valid driver's license (Class G or G2).,Possess good manual dexterity and the ability to work with different hand tools.,Capable of lifting and carrying heavy weight.,Capable of climbing telephone poles and/or ladders.,Capable of kneeling, bending, and working in areas with restricted movement.,Capable of differentiating coloured wires (colour code).,Capable of safely executing all job functions and meeting safety requirements.

Ideal Candidate

A college diploma in electronics or telecommunications, or equivalent work experience.,A minimum of a high school diploma (for candidates outside the Craft and Services bargaining unit).,Ability to act with a focus on customer satisfaction.,Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Work Hours
