This role involves providing pivotal technical architecture leadership within RBC's Capital Markets Technology (QTS) as it undergoes significant transformation due to AI. The architect will define technology direction, standards, and create reference implementations for major programs, collaborating closely with senior business and technology stakeholders globally.
Drive strong technology standards, patterns, and practices across high-priority QTS business deliverables.,Develop code to support reusability, standards, and patterns such as authentication libraries and UI high volume data patterns.,Analyze internal and external software solutions (e.g., caching, messaging, data stores, AI) and develop detailed technical and functional usage guidelines along with standardized deployment and product usage patterns.,Contribute to the inventory of current state technology usage and create target state technology standards.,Govern technology usage on an ongoing basis to ensure alignment to standards.,Formulate overall technology strategy in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, including staying abreast of emerging technology trends.
