This role within National Bank Financial Legal Affairs, specifically in the Litigation and Regulatory Investigations team, involves comprehensive management of legal files using the GaLexy software. Key responsibilities include coordinating billing for external legal firms, handling insurance claim processes, maintaining tracking and reporting tools, and offering operational and document management support. The position demands strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure the efficient progression of legal matters.

What We're Looking For

Manage the lifecycle of legal files (opening, updating, closing, archiving) in GaLexy.,Act as the team's primary contact for the legal file management tool.,Maintain tracking and reporting tools, generating necessary progress reports for cases.,Coordinate the billing process for external law firms, including indexing, processing invoices, coordinating approvals, follow-ups, payment reconciliation, and managing year-end status reports.,Coordinate the insurance claims process, covering submission of notices and claims, disbursements, reimbursement requests, deposits, reconciliations, and communications with the insurer.,Contribute to resolving issues related to billing or insurance claims.,Provide cross-functional operational support (e.g., access management, IT requests, logistics, employee onboarding/offboarding).,Assist with document management initiatives (e.g., archiving, extraction, verification, secure destruction).

Ideal Candidate

A relevant college diploma,Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, with strong familiarity with Excel
