Description

This strategic leadership role within National Bank's Commercial Banking sector in the Regina District involves coaching and inspiring a team of Commercial Account Managers. The successful candidate will drive performance across sales, credit, operational risk, monitoring, and control, combining business development expertise with rigorous risk management and collaborative leadership. The position, reporting to the Associate Vice-President, is based in Regina, Saskatchewan, and supports commercial clients within the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 sector, leveraging an ecosystem of experts to provide optimal client solutions.

What We're Looking For

Manage a team of account managers, fostering an engaging work environment and tracking employee growth and skill development through personalized coaching.,Optimize sector efficiency, productivity, and profitability by implementing business growth strategies.,Establish a strategy with partners to maximize market impact and improve sector visibility.,Participate in drafting and executing the annual business plan for the market.,Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients through various acquisition and retention activities.,Act as an ambassador for the Bank within the local community and foster relationships with key partners.,Ensure adherence to compliance rules and operating procedures.,Stay informed of new market developments to ensure products and services meet evolving client needs and remain competitive.,Proactively identify new ways of working and encourage continuous improvement and the use of new tools.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience.,Significant experience with commercial clients, including complex financing structures and risk analysis.,Strong experience in personnel management and sales coaching.,Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan focused on business development and market coverage.,Experience in negotiation.,Ability to maximize the use of sales management tools (dashboards, performance tracking, etc.).,Knowledge of the Private Wealth Management sector is an asset.,Strong ability to influence, lead, and manage priorities effectively.,Autonomy, organizational skills, and change management capabilities.
