Description

The Team Lead, Commercial Banking at National Bank of Canada is responsible for coaching a team of Commercial Account Managers to promote the Bank's financial solutions across various channels. This role also involves managing a senior portfolio of commercial clients, supporting the team in business development, optimizing sector efficiency and profitability, and participating in the annual business plan. The position emphasizes strong leadership, influence, and a collaborative spirit within the Commercial & Private Wealth Management sector.

What We're Looking For

Manage and coach a team of account managers to foster objective achievement and skills development.,Optimize sector efficiency, productivity, and profitability through business growth strategies.,Establish and execute market impact strategies with partners, including drafting and managing the annual business plan.,Manage a mid-market client portfolio, building and maintaining relationships through acquisition and retention.,Act as a Bank ambassador in the local community, fostering relationships with key partners.,Balance risk management with profitability in business development.,Ensure adherence to compliance rules and operating procedures.,Stay informed of market developments to ensure competitive product and service offerings.,Identify new work methods, encourage continuous improvement, and utilize new tools.,Support the Regional Vice-President in business plan establishment and daily team management.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.,Experience in personnel management and/or coaching.,Strong background in commercial credit and business development.,Good understanding of various banking systems.
