Description

The Auto Claims Advisor at TD Insurance is responsible for managing the entire automobile claims process for customers, from the initial accident to final settlement. Key duties include arranging towing and appraisals, explaining policy coverages, verifying information, reconciling repair estimates, and collaborating with various internal and external partners. The role requires providing compassionate and analytical support to ensure customers feel supported and their needs are met during their claims experience, while also contributing to team productivity and fostering a positive work environment.

What We're Looking For

Support customer claims from start to finish, including arranging towing, setting up appraisals, and outlining policy coverage.,Gather, organize, and verify required information and documentation for thorough claim resolution.,Reconcile estimates from vendors to ensure appropriate settlements for vehicle damages.,Contribute to team productivity objectives by managing file counts and open/close ratios.,Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors such as Enterprise and repair shops.,Research coverage scenarios and apply knowledge to customer claim files.,Demonstrate customer-centric and strategic objectives.,Greet and welcome customers arriving at TD Auto Centres.,Apply non-biased methods to achieve fair and equitable claim settlements.,Communicate clear claims processing requirements, maintain detailed notes, and deliver timely progress updates and responses to client inquiries.,Participate as a team member and contribute to a positive work environment.

Ideal Candidate

Claims adjuster license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).,Excellent customer service skills.,Superior time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.,Proven ability to negotiate positive outcomes.,Demonstrated clear and professional written and verbal communication skills and active listening.,Strong ability to conduct thorough investigations, analyze evidence, and identify discrepancies.,Demonstrated support for company process improvements.,Candidates actively pursuing their Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and/or other relevant continuing education are preferred.,Provincial claims licensing may be required.
