Description
The Senior Tax Advisor in the Investment Funds Accounting team at National Bank plays a crucial role in transforming operations and directly impacting clients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a complex environment, identifying business issues and addressing stakeholder needs to support strategic initiatives. The Investment Funds Administration team is responsible for calculating unit prices, producing financial statements, and tax returns for investment funds.
What We're Looking For
Analyze the tax situation of investment funds and make recommendations,Coach a team of 10 professionals responsible for delivering various activities,Guide the team in calculating distributions and producing tax returns for investment funds,Manage strategic relationships with internal and external partners to foster collaboration and influence decisions,Develop, implement, and improve effective controls and work tools to ensure high quality standards and data integrity,Calculate income distributions and capital gains, and file tax returns for investment funds,Participate in, coordinate, and monitor projects,Collaborate and contribute to improving activities and processes
Ideal Candidate
Master's degree in taxation, completed or in progress, with relevant work experience,Accounting designation (CPA),Experience producing tax returns for trusts and corporations,Individual and team coaching experience and skills development,Knowledge of investment funds and trusts,Knowledge of tax, accounting, and securities standards applicable to investment funds,Mastery of Excel (complex formulas and pivot tables),Ability to maintain performance in a demanding environment and manage priorities effectively
