KPMG is looking for a Tax Specialist to join its National M&A Tax practice in Canada. This role focuses on guiding clients through the complex tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, offering tailored advice and support from initial due diligence to post-deal integration. The specialist will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable experience in real-world deals and fostering career growth within the firm.

What We're Looking For

Collaborate with senior team members to support project management for M&A transactions,Assist in tax-related analysis and documentation,Prepare reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders,Conduct tax due diligence procedures by analyzing data and identifying risks,Assist with the tax due diligence process,Contribute to the development of tax strategies by assisting with preparation of structuring documents and related analysis,Participate in client meetings and support decision-making processes

Ideal Candidate

Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax,Strong research and analytical abilities,Commitment to continuous learning,Interest in developing and implementing M&A tax strategies
