Systems Designer (R27155)

Design, prototype, and collaborate with other Designers and project leadership to ensure your systems deliver the desired player experience and achieve other project goals,

Communicate the vision for these features to developers across multiple disciplines, and ensure they have the information needed to implement them quickly and effectively,

Solicit and integrate feedback from across the team, ensuring we're delivering the best version of your systems to our players,

Create the scripting/data/content required by those systems, iterating from early prototypes to final shippable quality,

Expand and iterate on those systems once they're in the live environment, ensuring the game remains exciting and engaging to players over the long term

5+ years of experience shipping titles as a Systems Designer, working on progression, economy, and/or engagement features and content,

Experience working on live-service multiplayer environments is preferred,

Demonstrated talent for empathizing with players and a deep understanding of player motivations, forms of play, and the effects of progression and goal setting on play,

Strong interest in game progression and economies, and an understanding of what makes them work,

Able to react quickly to changing project needs, drive decisions, and then own that vision,
