Supply Chain Intern
Description
Saputo is seeking Supply Chain Interns to support various departments including MRP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Transportation/Logistics, Customer Service, or Cheese Procurement. Interns will help identify and implement cost reduction, network optimization, and process improvement initiatives, contributing to daily departmental operations and completing specific projects like evaluating network layouts or customer order patterns.
What We're Looking For
Provide daily support to the assigned department.,Contribute to planning for SKUs, routes, categories, or distribution centers.,Deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to leadership.,Identify and communicate risks (over/shorts/delays) to stakeholders.,Complete one to three projects, potentially involving network layout evaluation, sourcing flows, stocking points, purchase schedules, or establishing default stocking recommendations based on customer order patterns, shelf life, and lead time.
Ideal Candidate
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Statistics/Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree (in progress)
