Supply Chain - Manager, Duty Optimization, Trade & Customs
Description
This role at Aritzia involves leading and managing global duty spending and cost reduction strategies across all trade channels. The manager will be responsible for duty management, financial analysis, tariff engineering, duty drawback programs, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations related to imports and exports. The position requires interpreting rules of origin for Free Trade Agreement eligibility and monitoring changes in customs policies.
What We're Looking For
Lead and manage global duty spend & cost reduction portfolio across all Aritzia trade channels.,Perform large data analysis with respect to duty savings and other financial outlays.,Lead and manage duty drawback programs, First Sale for Export, Refunds/PSC's and other recovery/reduction requirements.,Interpret rules of origin applicable for Free Trade Agreement eligibility.,Interpret HS/HTS coding for optimization.,Monitor and interpret global government recovery programs, regulations, and changes in customs policies.
Ideal Candidate
Experience in Trade and Customs Environment.,Ability to work independently with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data.,CAN CCS (US CCS an asset).,A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles.,The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners.,A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value and drive the business.
