Supply & Demand Planner
Description
Saputo is hiring an experienced Supply & Demand Planner for a 6-month contract role within their Industrial Sales Powders portfolio in Melbourne, Australia. The position focuses on balancing supply and demand by collaborating with Sales, Operations, Production Sites, and the S&OP team, providing broad exposure to end-to-end planning. Key responsibilities include managing production mix, communicating supply risks, forecasting, inventory management, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Balance production mix within solids constraints,Communicate supply risks and track production attainment,Deliver accurate supply plans with sites and S&OP,Lead forecast reviews with Sales,Manage order fulfilment updates and monitor aged stock,Maintain supply/demand balance in SAP APO,Maintain target stock levels, address excess and shortages, and identify inventory opportunities,Report production attainment and track weekly demand movements,Update volume left to sell and support continuous improvement initiatives
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or Supply Chain,5+ years FMCG experience (dairy preferred),Australian working rights at the time of applying
