Supervisor, Production

Description

The Production Supervisor at Saputo is responsible for leading production employees to maximize productivity on their assigned shifts and areas. This involves planning, directing work, training, mentoring, handling complaints, and problem-solving, all while adhering to company policies, OSHA regulations, continuous improvement (CI) processes, and the Management Operating Structure (MOS).

What We're Looking For

Directly supervise production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas.,Plan, assign, and direct work.,Conduct employee training and mentoring.,Address product and employee complaints and resolve problems.,Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable laws.,Follow all CI processes and the Management Operating Structure (MOS).,Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).,Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.,Ability to follow all Sanitation and Quality Policies and Procedures, and report and follow through on any deficiencies.,Physical abilities include the ability to walk, climb, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50-lbs for extended periods of time in a manufacturing facility.,Ability to work in an environment that includes wet, cold, hot, humid, chemicals, and high noise (controlled at TWA of 85dB).,Wear approved personal protective equipment.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a minimum of 4 years plant experience in a leadership capacity.
