Description

Saputo Dairy Products Canada is seeking a Production Supervisor responsible for overseeing employees in the production department to ensure compliance and quality of production processes. The role emphasizes a family spirit, loyalty, passion, teamwork, continuous improvement, and quality in all initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Supervise and develop a team of approximately 25 employees.,Lead, train, support, and guide employees through daily production activities.,Ensure the efficiency of production and packaging.,Ensure and encourage good working methods and communicate areas for improvement.,Optimize resource utilization to ensure smooth production operations while meeting internal and external customer needs.,Ensure all reports are completed according to requirements.,Use various reports to monitor production efficiency and communicate information to employees.,Work to maintain food safety and HACCP standards.,Communicate and ensure the application of health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring tasks and actions comply with established safety rules.,Collaborate with the maintenance department to maximize equipment efficiency.,Perform all other related duties.

Ideal Candidate

Strong interest in personnel management and coaching.,Good vision for improvement opportunities in work organization.,College or university degree in a relevant field (food technology).,Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.,Bilingualism (an asset).,Experience in a supervisory role in an industrial environment (an asset).,Knowledge of cleaning and sanitization of production equipment (an asset).,Autonomy and cooperation.,Good knowledge of MS Office 365 suite, Maestro and/or SAP, and comfort with technology and IT systems.,Good leadership and communication skills.,Ability to analyze and solve problems.

Work Hours

Night shift: 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM, on a 3-2-2-3 cycle, including one weekend off every two weeks.
