Summer Intern – Animal Health
Description
This internship, part of the Toxicology team in Laval, focuses on ensuring the welfare of animals and maintaining the integrity of pre-clinical studies. Key duties include cleaning animal living environments, assisting technicians with daily tasks, handling animals, and engaging in animal physical and social activities.
What We're Looking For
Ensure cleanliness of animal living environments to high welfare standards,Assist technicians in daily tasks,Handle animals,Participate in physical/social activities for animals,Able to follow precise instructions,Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
Ideal Candidate
Currently a student in Animal Health Technology, Wildlife Management technology or Biotechnology
Minimum Education
Student status in Animal Health Technology, Wildlife Management technology, or Biotechnology

37.5 hours/week during summer, potential for overtime, possibility to stay after school to be discussed
